Welcome to Puzzle Baron's Free Cell! Free Cell is a classic patience game where every deal is solvable with skill and patience. All 52 cards are face-up from the start, and you have four "free cells" to use as temporary storage while you sort the deck onto the four foundation piles. We offer thousands of unique deals. At the start of each game, all 52 cards are dealt face-up across eight tableau columns. Your goal is to move every card onto one of the four foundation piles in the upper right, building each foundation up by suit from Ace to King.
A few rules govern how cards can move:
— Tableau columns build down by alternating colors. A red 7 can be placed on a black 8, a black 6 can be placed on a red 7, and so on.
— Foundations build up by suit, starting with the Ace. Once an Ace is on a foundation, the matching 2 of that suit can be placed on top of it, then the 3, and so on up to the King.
— Free cells are four single-card slots in the upper left. Any card can be moved to an empty free cell, and any card in a free cell can be moved back to the tableau or onto a foundation.
— Empty columns can be filled with any card or sequence of cards, just like a free cell — but with room for more.
— Multi-card moves are allowed when you have enough free cells and empty columns to "shuffle" the run one card at a time. The game tracks this for you.
